Yvain, the knight of the Lion
Yvain, the Knight of the Lion is a famous Arthurian romance written by Chrétien de Troyes. This is a beautiful story about knights, lovely ladies, fire-breathing dragons and castles. Sounds great, doesn't it? And it's even greater because you can not just read it, but also see it all. How?
Recently M.T. Anderson has writren a special version of this romance, adopted for a graphic novel, which has been made for teenagers. The pictures for the book have been drawn by Andrea Offerman, whose arts were exhibited in Germany, the United States and other countries.
As we think, this graphic novel is a real gift for all lovers of medieval literature. It has been painted quite carefully, so you can see, for example, how people dressed at the end of 12th century.
Of course, this graphic novel is quite diffirent from the original story.
